Can I request a round of applause for the beauty of this montage? I personally think it is one of the best the show has ever done. In fact, to me the whole ending scene not only was terribly heartbreaking, but also had a lot of the Swan Song ending. And in that regard it almost frames Bobby as Chuck and I won’t even go into the possible implications here. The way this montage captures every single character in their respective hell - and personal heaven - to me was one of the strongest visuals the show pulled off in a long time and makes teas well up in my eyes while typing this, because it captures the loneliness, the isolation and  the desperation of everyone but Bobby in such calm shots. That’s what makes them so hard to take. It’s the silence in all of them. The calm before the storm that inevitably is going to come. With the Winchesters - as Bobby once said - “smack in the middle of it”.
